U.S. introduced the report of countries that sponsor terrorism
The Department of State United States today presents the annual report on countries that sponsor terrorism in the mundo.EFE
Last year, the U.S. remained on the blacklist of countries that sponsor terrorism to countries like Cuba, Iran and Syria, and said Venezuela among the countries that were still not cooperating "fully" in the fight against terrorism.
On the other hand, noted the positive efforts of countries like Mexico, Argentina and Colombia.
Among the concerns of the U.S. government in its report last year said al Qaeda remained a prominent threat to the country.
The State Department warned also of a growing trend of U.S. citizens who have joined the Islamist radicalism.
The U.S. coordinator to counterterrorism issues, Daniel Benjamin, will hold a press conference to present the report at 1630 GMT.
